Built 1853, remained in use until 1905. Always a popular subject with photographers. Visitors may climb spiral staircase to top, overlooking the flat coastal plain, with fine view across Laguna Madre to South Padre Island. Off Texas 100 downtown Port Isabel.

Port Isabel Park Center RV Park Campground
 - For tents, vans, pop-up campers without air conditioners and that do not require full hook ups, there is a daily rate of $14.00. No weekly or monthly rates are available for this category.
 - Sites are generally rented to two adults. If you have additional occupancy, please notify office.
 - Check out time is 12:00 noon
 - Rates effective November 1, 2008. Mastercard, VISA, and Discover accepted. There will be a $20.00 charge for all returned checks and rates are non refundable.

Traveling east on Hwy. 100 count 4 stoplights starting at the intersection of Hwys 100 & 48.  After the fourth stoplight travel one long block on right hand side of Hwy. 100 which will take you to Champion.  Turn right on Champion, go past Tarpon Fields and turn right at next street.  Office is on the left hand side of the street.  

Traveling west on Hwy. 100 go past Dairy Queen and White Sands Motel.  Turn left on Champion, go past Tarpon Fields and turn right at next street.  Office is on the left hand side of the street.
