We are a fishing and birding paradise with mild winters and warm, friendly people. To enjoy the exceptional saltwater fishing we have a lighted fishing pier that is wheel chair accessible, fish cleaning facilities, boat lifts and slips.

With the Laguna Atascosa Wildlife Refuge as our neighbor we enjoy an abundance of wildlife year round. For the birding enthusiasts this is paradise. For the golf lover there is a new course in Laguna Vista that is twenty minutes away. Target shooting is available at the Rio Grande Valley Shooting Center in Rio Hondo.

We are close to shopping, great medical facilities, the beach and if you enjoy a little foreign flavor in your life, Mexico is a short drive. Across the border you can enjoy fine dining and great shopping at incredible prices.

In the park we have a picnic area over-looking the water and a recreation room with darts, table games and reading materials. We are a modem friendly park. We have both laundry and bathing facilities for your convenience. Activities and monthly day trips are planned for your pleasure and participation.

Food! We love to cook and enjoy planning and participating in social gatherings. Fish fries, potlucks and dessert night are all on the schedule. We also feel that every holiday is a reason to celebrate and if we do not have a holiday when we need it, we make one up.
